Private Gaudí tour Barcelona at La Pedrera on Passeig de Gràcia

Private Gaudí tour Barcelona: four icons, one intelligent route

The core four-hour experience focuses on façades, context and selected exterior viewpoints. Entering all four monuments changes the pace: allow seven to eight hours and reserve separate timed tickets in advance.

01 · Suggested itinerary

A route that respects your time

Start on Passeig de Gràcia, follow Gaudí’s work east to the basilica, then climb towards Park Güell. Your guide can adjust the order around ticket slots, mobility and traffic.

  1. 01

    Casa Batlló

    20–30 min exterior · 75–105 min inside

  2. 8–10 min walk · 3–5 min by taxi

  3. 02

    La Pedrera

    15–20 min exterior · 60–90 min inside

  4. 10–15 min by private vehicle · 15–20 min by Metro L5

  5. 03

    Sagrada Família

    20–30 min exterior · 60–90 min inside

  6. 15–20 min by private vehicle · 25–35 min by public transport

  7. 04

    Park Güell

20–30 min highlights · 75–90 min fuller visit

Travel times are planning estimates, not guarantees. Barcelona traffic, metro waiting times and entrance queues can change them.

01

Casa Batlló

Passeig de Gràcia · Metro L3/L4

What we’ll see

Read the marine façade, bone-like balconies and roofline before choosing whether to enter the immersive house and temporary exhibition.

Tickets & prices

Official products use dynamic online pricing. The FAQ advertises the General Visit from €29; the current General Visit + exhibition may start from €39. Children aged 0–12 enter free.

Last checked: September 2026. Prices may change; the monument’s official site is definitive.

Best time to visit

April–June and September–October are comfortable. For quieter pavements choose the first morning slot; late afternoon gives the façade warmer light.

Getting there

Metro L3 or L4 to Passeig de Gràcia. Catalunya (L1) and Diagonal (L5) are about a 10-minute walk. From a central hotel, pickup can be arranged around the first timed entry.

Practical tip

Allow at least 75 minutes if entering. The building has lifts and welcomes wheelchair users, although staff may sequence access to avoid congestion.

02

La Pedrera — Casa Milà

8–10 min on foot from Casa Batlló · Metro L3/L5

What we’ll see

Compare the undulating stone façade with Casa Batlló, then—if entering—explore the courtyards, attic and sculptural rooftop chimneys.

Tickets & prices

La Pedrera Essential is listed from €29 and includes an audioguide. Under-12s enter free; reduced categories are available. Buying at the ticket office carries a surcharge.

Last checked: September 2026. Prices may change; the monument’s official site is definitive.

Best time to visit

Go early or late for a calmer rooftop. Spring and autumn are ideal; the roof may close temporarily in rain or strong wind.

Getting there

Walk 8–10 minutes up Passeig de Gràcia. Diagonal station (L3/L5) is the closest metro; public transport offers little advantage for this short leg.

Practical tip

Plan 60–90 minutes inside. Most public areas are accessible, but the roof and mezzanine have uneven levels; an accessible viewing platform is available by lift.

03

Sagrada Família

10–15 min by vehicle from La Pedrera · Metro L2/L5

What we’ll see

Decode the Nativity and Passion façades, Gaudí’s structural ideas and—on an interior visit—the forest of columns and stained-glass light.

Tickets & prices

General admission is €26 and includes the basilica, museum, official app and audioguide. Towers are separate; guided and tower products cost more. Under-11s and qualifying disabled visitors enter free.

Last checked: September 2026. Prices may change; the monument’s official site is definitive.

Best time to visit

The 9:00–10:00 window is usually calmer. Mid-morning or later afternoon can give beautiful stained-glass colour; reserve the light you prefer, not just any available slot.

Getting there

Metro L2 or L5 to Sagrada Família. The individual entrance is on the Nativity façade at Carrer de Marina. From La Pedrera allow 10–15 minutes by private vehicle or 15–20 by L5 including walking and waiting.

Practical tip

Timed entry is strict. Bring a charged phone and headphones for the audioguide, dress appropriately for a basilica and allow extra security time.

04

Park Güell

15–20 min by vehicle from Sagrada Família · Metro L3 + walk

What we’ll see

Walk through the monumental zone, Hypostyle Room, serpentine bench and panoramic terrace while connecting Gaudí’s landscape design to the city below.

Tickets & prices

General admission is €18. Ages 7–12 and over-65s are €13.50; ages 0–6 and qualifying disabled visitors enter free. Entry is timed with a 30-minute grace period, and re-entry is not allowed.

Last checked: September 2026. Prices may change; the monument’s official site is definitive.

Best time to visit

Early morning or late afternoon is best, especially May–September when shade is limited. Spring and autumn bring the most comfortable temperatures for the slopes.

Getting there

A private vehicle is the simplest transfer from Sagrada Família. By public transport allow 25–35 minutes. Vallcarca and Lesseps (L3) involve roughly a 20-minute uphill walk; H6 and D40 buses are alternatives.

Practical tip

Wear shoes with grip and carry water. The site is hilly; ask for the adapted route in advance if anyone has reduced mobility.

03 · Eat well on the route

Three useful tables, not tourist filler

Lunch works best after Sagrada Família or at the end of the route. Opening hours change, so reserve directly and mention dietary needs.

Small decisions that improve the whole day

  • Book timed monument tickets before fixing lunch.
  • Do not schedule four interiors inside a four-hour tour.
  • Carry water, sun protection and comfortable shoes for Park Güell.
  • Tell your guide about reduced mobility, children or sensory needs in advance.
  • Keep your phone charged and download official audioguides before arrival.

Your pace, your route

Choose depth over a checklist

For four hours, we recommend exteriors plus one priority interior. For a full Gaudí day, allow seven to eight hours, add a real lunch break and build the route around your confirmed ticket times.
